Lev Borisovich Yevgrafov (1934-2021) - cellist, professor. Laureate of All-Union and international competitions, combined intensive performing activities with teaching. The musical press of different countries invariably noted in Yevgrafov's playing a high spirituality and brightness of interpretation, virtuoso skill, a subtle sense of style, deep musical erudition, and the Swiss newspaper Vorderland, after his concerts in 1992, called the artist a "great master", a "high-grade diamond".
