Quintet of the Tchaikovsky Big Symphony Orchestra (Moscow):

Sidorov, Dmitry (2nd violin)
Skorobogatova, Elena (viola)
Zemlerub, Fyodor (cello)
Golovanov, Igor (double bass)
Quintet of the Tchaikovsky Big Symphony Orchestra (Moscow) It is known that the genre of instrumental concert has its origin in a country that through the ages has concentrated the largest musical centers and gave the world a galaxy of masters who organized the entire opera tradition - in Italy. It was there that Arcangelo Corelli was born, from whom, from the very beginning, one can track the formation of the concert form, which will carry its essence through all stylistic standards justifiably undergoing cardinal metamorphoses and changes in cultural paradigms with the passage of time. The famous musician, an acknowledged interpreter of oboe repertoire Oleg Yakubovich, very sensitively perceived this genre. Together with Nikolai Martynov, a major in historically oriented performing art, and the Quintet of the P. I. Tchaikovsky Great Symphony Orchestra, he prepared for the dear audience an interesting program made up exclusively of Italian concertos, the chronological attribution of which covers on the whole the time from the Middle Baroque to the 20th century.
This program, curated by the distinguished oboist and acclaimed interpreter of the oboe repertoire Oleg Yakubovich, in collaboration with Nikolai Martynov - a noted specialist in historically informed performance - and the Quintet of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, presents a unique panorama of Italian concertos. Spanning from the Middle Baroque to the 20th century, the repertoire offers a compelling journey through time, highlighting the evolving language of the concerto across stylistic epochs. |

Kolektion: BaroqueSubkolektion: Voices «Divoti Affetti alla Passione di Nostro Signore»: Ten Duets for Passion
Ten chamber duets were written for performance in the Hofkirche (Dresden) in the 1740s. This is the first release of the disc in Russia of the material in its entirety, performed by a group of baroque musicians. A unique interpretation of the rarest material is a real journey, referring to the sufferings of Christ, rethought through the prism of baroque music. Original non-canonical Latin texts, complex musical movement, virtuosity of performance and subtle, personal interpretation of exclusively chamber material will not leave the listener indifferent.

Kolektion: BaroqueSubkolektion: Ensemble The members of this trumpet ensemble play on copies of the trumpet by Wolff Birckholtz (Nuremberg, 1650) discovered in a church in Belitz. Jean-Francois Madeuf and his ensemble have researched which pieces could have been performed in Northern Germany on these instruments.

Kolektion: BaroqueSubkolektion: Ensemble Facets of the ExquisiteChamber-Instrumental Art of the Baroque EraEnsemble of Early Instruments Arte-Fakt
The chamber-instrumental repertoire of the Baroque era represents one of the most refined and intellectually compelling domains of early European music. Cultivated within courtly and private settings, it reflects a culture of artistic sophistication in which experimentation, rhetorical nuance, and formal innovation were of central importance.
During the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, genres such as the sonata and the suite underwent continuous transformation, frequently intersecting and redefining their structural and expressive boundaries. These processes gave rise to a rich diversity of compositional approaches, from the stylised dance movements of the suite to the increasingly elaborate idioms of the sonata.
The present programme, performed by the ensemble Arte-Fakt under the artistic direction of the Baroque violinist Roman Glukhov, offers a carefully considered perspective on this repertoire. Bringing together works by François Francoeur, Sébastien de Brossard, Arcangelo Corelli, Johann Sebastian Bach, Giovanni Antonio Piani, and Henry Purcell, it illuminates a spectrum of national styles and compositional voices.
Performed on period instruments in accordance with historically informed practice, these interpretations seek not only stylistic authenticity but also a deeper engagement with the expressive language of the time.
