Suites by Johann Sebastian Bach for cello solo are a unique musical masterpiece. This is a kind of challenge for the performer who takes on the implementation of the material. In our case, Alexander Listratov solves this problem in the tradition of historical performance. The suites are recorded on a genuine historical instrument (an unknown Italian master of the 16th century) and in an authentic manner of playing.
