Russia is worldwide known for its musical culture and pianistic traditions. Mikhail Trushechkin, a prominent Russian pianist presents a collection of Sergey Prokofiev piano sonatas. Prokofiev 2, 4, 6, and 7 sonatas are rightfully considered to be real masterpieces of world music classics. The creation of these four sonatas covers a considerable period of time from 1910 to 1942. Prokofiev’s music truthfully and deeply conveys the spirit of tragic Russian history of the 20th century.
